Shira Blazer Bat Mitzvah Project

Please join me in spreading joy to courageous kids fighting cancer and other life threatening illnesses.

As part of my Bat Mitzvah project, I am on a mission to deliver Joy Jars to 180 courageous kids. I was inspired to do this from my Grandma Jackie who this year lost her battle with brain cancer. I was blessed that she could be with me in Israel. Her positive attitude and smile helped us get through this year and I hope to honor her through lifting the spirit of kids suffering with cancer.

Jessie Rees was athletic like me and lost her battle at 12 years old. Please either donate money or you can bring toys to my Bat Mitzvah in November or drop at Temple Beth Ami. These toys will be used to fill joy jars so they must be small in size. In addition I will be collecting sport toys like footballs, soccer balls, nerf guns etc to be given to siblings to help them also through this difficult time.

I am so excited to partner with NEGU (Never ever give up). With your help, we can help send boosts of joy to these kids. Each Joy Jar costs about $20.
